Ingredients
  

  • Dry Ingredients
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Wet Ingredients
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Festive Add-ins
  • 1 cup red and green M&Ms
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
  • Candy eyes for the “monster” effect

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the Oven
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • Combine Dry Ingredients
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  • Cream Butter and Sugar
  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy (about 2 minutes).
  • Add Eggs and Vanilla
  • Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  • Mix Dry and Wet Ingredients
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  • Fold in Add-ins
  • Gently stir in the M&Ms, white chocolate chips, and candy eyes. Save a few for topping.
  • Scoop and Bake
  • Use a cookie scoop or tablespoon to drop dough balls onto the prepared baking sheets. Press extra M&Ms and candy eyes on top for decoration. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  • Cool
  • Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack.
