- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 3/4 cup almond milk warm
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 large egg
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter melted
- 1 tsp active dry yeast
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Filling:
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter melted
- 1/4 cup coconut sugar
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- Glaze Optional:
- 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Activate the yeast by mixing warm almond milk and honey. Let sit until frothy.
